I have never heard of Mr. Fernandez before today. However,
He will be best remembered as the director, writer and voice of Speed Racer, as well as the composer of its American theme song.
Clearly, he is my hero, and I mourn his passing. There are some great memorials of him at the link. Job well done, sir - a job well done, indeed.
