Reading List

sekmet : The Houston Chron story about the birth certificate has over 900 comments. The wingnuts are just foaming and howling at the mouth. Pathetic

I spent a few minutes there yesterday. Just sad. Then I went to FactCheck.org to prove to a coworker that yes, there was a true copy, yes it was certified, yes it has the seal...they even have a shot of the newspaper birth announcement the week he was born.

But facts and evidence won't shut them up.

Retail Sales Are Weakest in 35 Years :
By STEPHANIE ROSENBLOOM
The nation's retailers turned in the worst sales figures in at least a generation on Thursday, starting the holiday shopping season with double-digit declines across a broad spectrum of stores.

For many chains, the precipitous sales drops that took hold in September and October got worse, not better, in November, despite relatively strong sales in the few days after Thanksgiving...

Black Friday was worthless, and a man dies in vain. January will be vile.

That birth certificate is the WMD, (Wished Missing Doc) and was buried in the sands of Waikiki by hula dancers in their quests to take over the earth. Of course.

And today on CSpan several callers talked about the 'fact' that Pres. Obama was born in Nigeria and how the resignation should be handled. Tho the host and panelist did tell the callers that he was born in Hawaii and it's a matter of record.

Those pesky facts have that proven librul bias.

Thank heavens, we know know about Waikiki.

Christmas lost its aura when it became all about big spending. Maybe American can look forward to real Christmases again with tacky tinsel and simple ornaments on the christmas trees. The holiday has become way too spectacular. May that poor man who was murdered by holiday shoppers mark the end of Black Friday.
