"Toxic" was a good song...

"I just saw a clip of Britney on the VMA awards. Wow, she just looked awful. While I feel uncomfortable saying that a woman who likely is only a size 8 looks bad, she just looked out of shape and very awkward in that ridiculous outfit. And her lip synching and dancing seemed less than inspired. Like Loo Hoo said, she looked far gone..."

It wasn't her plumpness - it was the obvious fact that she made little or no effort to prepare for the performance. Like Bush, she doesn't think that she has to work for it, or that she owes the audience anything.

And "Toxic" was a good song -- but that's because it was written by Cathy Dennis, who probably sang all of the good parts:
